Walter D. Juvinall passed away at Carle Foundation Hospital on March 24, 2025. Prior to his passing he was living at 101 and a half Pennsylvania Avenue in Danville Illinois. 

    Walter was born in Danville, IL to Ricky Lee Juvinall Sr. and Sally Jean Gooch. He was married for 30 years to LaTela C Juvinall and had 4 children and 5 grandchildren that were his entire world. 

     Walter loved to fish, travel, listen to music, teach and mentor construction and mechanical work. But most importantly he loved spending time with his family. When we all would go fishing he always turned it into a game on who could catch the biggest fish. He was a great storyteller,  and always enjoyed joking around. He lived to make people laugh. To those of us who loved him deeply, he was a source of strength, happiness, security, and love. He was a true friend, loving son and brother, devoted and protective dad and husband. His gentle spirit and deep love showed in everything he did. He had a big heart and was always helping others. He left a lasting imprint on every person he ever came into contact with. 

     Walter left behind his mom Sally Gooch, his wife LaTela Juvinall, his brothers Ricky Lee Juvinall Jr. and Rob Pierce, and his sisters Jessika Juvinall and Tiffany Hardin. He also left behind his three daughters Candis Doan, Carissa Juvinall, and Cassandra Neace. His son-in-laws Brett Doan, Malcolm Neace, and his soon to be son-in-law Lewis Houldridge. He also left behind five grandchildren Xavier, Nevaeh, Kayzley, Kenzley, and Isaac. 

     Walter is up in heaven fishing with his dad Ricky Lee Juvinall Sr. and his son Tyler Rodriguez, and is no longer in pain. He might be gone, but he will never be forgotten. We know he will be watching over us all from heaven until we see him again.
