Tia Lyn Hoover, 52, of Tilton IL passed away October 21st 2024 at her home.

Tia was born July 8th 1972 in Danville IL, to Rena Tabels and John Hoover. She is survived in death by her husband Paul Boswell; their 5 children Brittny Boswell, Eric Boswell, Katelyn Boswell, Alora Swick, and Alyssa Swick; grandchildren Gavin O'Blenis, Gacari Cason, Spencer Boswell, Logan Patton, Zarae Boswell, Tate Patton, and Macy Patton. She leaves behind one sister Tija Hoover, along with her niece and nephews Andrea McIntyre, Andrew Swick, Adam Long.

Tia graduated from Danville School in 1990 and received her bachelor’s degree from The Paralegal Institute in 2012. She was one of the hardest working people you’d ever meet, both in her work in the legal field on Task Force X and as a paralegal as well as in her roles as a mother, grandmother, and wife.

She was a beloved member of her family. You could find her watching movies with her husband, cuddling with her German shepherd Sophie, and spending quality time with her children and grandchildren. 

She loved to visit the Smoky Mountains but also just enjoyed spending time in her own home, watching hummingbirds, reading, or tending to her garden. She will forever be missed and remembered with love. 

Services will be held Monday November 18th from 4 PM - 6 PM at Vermilion Valley Vineyard Church - 3733 Poolside Dr. Danville IL 61832.
