Steve Eugene Anderson, 61 of Danville, passed away on December 10, 2022 at home surrounded by family.  

Steve was born December 28, 1960 in Danville Illinois, he was the son of Phillip E. and Constance E. Anderson.

 

Survivors include two sons, Sloan (Angie) of Catlin, Illinois and Stephen formally of Danville,IL. a sister Tracey Anderson of Texas, and his mother Constance Anderson from Danville, IL four grandchildren and two nieces.  He was preceded in death by his father Phillip E. Anderson.  

 

He graduated from Danville High School and attended Illinois Music at the University of Illinois, studying and playing with prominent national instructors while at the U of I. 

 

  He was a member of Local IBEW 538 and then worked for the family business Anderson Electric. 

Steve played in several bands in the area, before traveling with the band Self Service.  Upon returning home, he then returned to the electrical profession, and still played, wrote, and recorded music.

 

A celebration of life will be held on Jan. 28.
