Obituary
Shirley Ann Tinder Edwards Wilburn, 86, passed away on April 28, 2023 surrounded by family at home following a long illness.
Shirley was born January 21, 1937 to Robert Alonzo and Rachel Roven Tinder. She first married Frank Edwards in Kentucky in 1954. She later married Fred Wilburn on October 29, 1974 in Danville.
She is survived by loving husband Fred, her sons Danny (Tawana) Edwards, Robert Edwards, and Troy Edwards, all of Danville, and Randy (Nicole) Edwards of Westville, her daughters Debra (Owen) Atwood of Winfield, Missouri and Ramona (Steve) Ford of Georgetown, her grandchildren Brandon (Britney) Edwards of Indianola, Josh (Tracy) Edwards of Tilton, Felisha (John) Hale of Danville, Ashley (Mark) Hennis of Cayuga, Miranda (Ricardo) Bonano of Fort Wayne IN, Nicole (Jon) Ford of Georgetown, Alicia (Mark) Payne of Georgetown, Christopher (Jess) Edwards of Georgetown, Sierra (Cory) Edwards of Danville, Katie Edwards of Normal, Kyle Edwards of Westville and 19 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her son Michael Edwards, her siblings Barb Oliphant, Rosemary Musson, Robert Tinder, Bill Tinder and one great grandchild.
Shirley enjoyed crafting and cooking but most of all she cherished spending time with her family.
The family will hold a celebration of Shirley’s life at a later date.
