Scott Allen Jurumbo, 56, of Georgetown, IL left this life to meet his lord and savior on April 12, 2026. Scott was born August 16, 1969 in Saginaw, Michigan to James and Margaret (Bauer) Jurumbo.
Scott is survived by his mother, Margaret (Bauer) Jurumbo, his brothers Brian (Kandy) Jurumbo, Neil (Jennifer) Jurumbo, Kris (Maggie) Jurumbo and his sister Andrea Jurumbo. His children Cody Winkler, Ciara Jurumbo, Tamara Hardesty, Clayton Nixon-Jurumbo, Chase Jurumbo and Mason Hewitt. His grandchildren Elaina, Evie, Alexa and Wiley. Many nieces and nephews.
Scott, the man, the myth, the legend as he referred to himself’s journey began in Saginaw, Michigan. He always spoke of his old neighborhood, his friends and how he would play in the streets till the street lights came on. From the time he was young he was a huge sports fanatic and any team Michigan was his Team! Go Blue! He was so excited to see Michigan win the National Championship. He loved nature and the outdoors. Scott was a Boy Scout and played sports all through his school years. He loved spending time on the farm and exploring the Jurumbo Homestead.
The Jurumbo family made their way to Georgetown, IL where Scott graduated high school. Scott was extremely smart, loved to tell stories and make people laugh. Scott has two lifelong friends that he cherished Poe and Bones.
Scott worked at Mclane, model star and KIK for many years. He was proud member of the union and safety committee.
Scott enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He was also big into Music and loved going to concerts and family get togethers.
Scott was an amazing father and grandfather. His grandchildren were his pride and joy. He could always be found playing with his grandkids and creating adventures. He was always on the go and made friends all along his journey. Scott was loved by many and will be deeply missed by all.
Scott is proceeded in death by his Father James Jurumbo, His paternal grandparents Adam and Sophie Jurumbo, maternal grandparents Dale and Frances Bauer, several uncles, his godmother and aunt Janice Jurumbo and his beloved niece Luzi.
Visitation will be Saturday April 18th, 2026, from 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm with Memorial service at 2:00 pm held by Dave Martin at South Side Church of Christ (611 Forrest St Danville, IL 61832).
