Roger Alan Mosier (1956-2023)

Roger Mosier, a beloved father. grandfather, great-grandfather, and brother, passed away on August 25, 2023. He was born on December 6, 1956.

Roger was a devoted family man, cherishing moments with his son, Ryan Mosier and taking immense pride in watching his grandsons Wyatt (Brissie Johnson), Rylan and Dallen as they excel in football and other sports. Also, a great-grandfather to Ulysses, Roger was excited by the joys and memories he would bring. All children loved Roger and looked up to him as somewhat of local hero, but we knew this was Roger just being Roger.

Roger grew up in Indianola with his mother Donnetta (deceased), father Orville (Linda), siblings Robert (Bob) Mosier, Betty Mosier-Johnson (Rick), and Randy making many memories which will be remembered fondly. Later in life, Roger met his sister, Jonie Pearman Hosack (Tom) who was a cherished addition to his life.

In his free time, Roger enjoyed in working in his yard and garden, carpentry work, and spending time with friends.

Roger worked in several different industries throughout his life and made lifelong friends with many coworkers. Roger was a good friend to many and will never be forgotten by all who knew him. Roger had a great sense of humor and will always be remembered for this attribute.

A celebration of Roger’s life will be held at a future date and he will be laid to rest at Woodlawn Cemetery in Indianola near his mother, Donnetta.
