Ricky Lee Thomas Sr.

Ricky Lee Thomas Sr, 72 of Sidell IL passed away on Tues March 15th at home. He was born July 7, 1949 in Danville, IL the son of Eddie and Beulah (Barrett) Thomas. Ricky was united in marriage on June 16, 1968 to Barbara (Kistler) Thomas until her passing April 5, 2012.

He will be dearly missed by his son Ricky Jr (Dana) Thomas of Fairmount IL, daughter Angela Jolene (Vincent) Beavers of Sidell IL, daughter in law Ami Wilson-Thomas of Catlin IL, Grandchildren Raiyanna, Savannah, Korey and Jesse Thomas, Austin Ewing, Zoey and Robin Hamilton, Austin and Kanen Lutz. He is survived by 2 brothers Jim and Greg Thomas,2 sisters Lola Snell, Bonnie Lyman.

Ricky Sr was preceded in death by his parents Eddie and Beulah Thomas, wife Barbara Thomas, son Randall Thomas, daughter Calista,2 sisters Donna Sloan and Rozella Clore.

Ricky graduated from Jamaica High School, served in Vietnam, worked at Farmers Elevator. His hobbies were collecting coins, McDonald's toys and doing word search puzzles

Visitation will be held at 9:00-11:00 am Monday March 21st at Sidell Pentecostal Assembly prior to service at 11:00 with graveside following. Pastor Tim Pearman will be officiating the service.
