Richard (Rick) Shackelford was a Veteran of the United States Marine Corp. He devoted many years volunteering and working for Missions, which included the Los Angeles Mission to the Old Savannah City Mission in Georgia. Those that got to know Rick really enjoyed his company, his knowledge, and his devotion/dedication to the Missions. He will be missed by those that got the honor to know him.
Rick is survived by a son, Raymond (Alicia) Shackelford- Angola, IN. Grandchildren, Lexi Shackelford- Logansport, IN, Chadwick and Annabelle Shackelford- Angola, IN. A brother, Danny (Tammy) Lantz- Tennessee & sisters Kim Binney and Gayle Willis- Logansport, IN.
Rick is preceded in death by his father, Orval Lee Shackelford, mother, Phyllis Merrett, and a brother Timothy Merrett.
