Phillip Dee Beeson

Phillip Dee Beeson, 78, of Ridge Farm, IL, passed away Tuesday, February 8, 2022 at OSF Healthcare, Danville, IL. 

Born February 23, 1943 in Danville, IL. He was the son of Fay and Edith (Wulff) Beeson. 

He married Wilma (Stidham) Beeson on May 15, 1982 and she survives. 

He was a retired U.S. Army veteran having served in the Vietnam War. He was a member of the American Legion Post #203. He loved playing cards with his many friends and traveling around the country with Wilma on his motorcycle. 

He is survived by his 2 sons, Jay and Tim Beeson; four step children, Raymond Peters, Dale Gaither, Neva Stroud and Eva Smith; one sister, Mary Patton; 10 step grandchildren; 16 great step grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. 

He was preceded in death by his parents; 3 brothers and 2 sisters. 

The memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, February 16, 2022 at the Vineyard Church (3733 Poolside Drive Danville) with Pastor Jay Sorell officiating. Burial will follow at Danville National Cemetery Friends are invited to visitation at the Vineyard Church from 11 a.m. until time of service.
