Michael A. Morgan, 38 of Danville, was reunited with his dad and daughter on Jan. 24, 2026.
Michael was proceeded in death by his father, Joseph Morgan, daughter, Mazie Morgan, maternal grandparents, Everett & Connie Terrell, fraternal grandparents, James & Janet Morgan, and uncle, David Terrell
He is survived by his mother, Tawnya Morgan, siblings, Joseph Morgan II and Regina (Dimitri) Rodriguez, daughters, Aussie Adam and Monroe Morgan, grandson, Mars Severado, best friend, Dasantai Morris, several Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces and Nephews, and countless friends.
Michael, much like his dad, did not know a stranger and was always willing to help others whenever he was able. He loved spending time with his family and friends, giving "knucks" to his grandson, teasing his siblings, and always had a story or a joke to tell. His favorite pastime was wading through the river in Elsworth Park to find “treasures”. He loved to “tinker” and enjoyed working on cars, etching glass, building or re-purposing items for family and friends, and collecting “junk” he could use on his projects.
The love and light he brought to the world will forever shine bright within all who knew him.
A celebration of Michael’s life will be held at a later time.
