Melissa L. Williams, 54, of Georgetown, IL., passed away on September 17th, 2021 at 10:34PM at OSF Sacred Heart Hospital in Danville, IL. She was born on November 15th, 1967 in Danville, IL. Melissa was the daughter of Elsie Osborn who proceeded her in death. She was married to Dale Williams who passed away on September 20th, 2021. Those who will miss her dearly include: her children, Justin (Megan) Souders of Springfield, Missouri, Kayla and (Derek) Fox of Attica, IN., Kyla Miethe, Leah Williams and Hope Johnson all of Danville, IL. She left behind five beautiful grandchildren: Zeke, Samantha, Zayden, Hudson and Kyngstyn. Melissa’s (Missy) greatest joy was her grandchildren that she loved dearly. She enjoyed spending time with them and being able to take them places as much as she could. Melissa was one of the hardest working people there was. She never complained and loved working at the gas station in Georgetown where she truly excelled. She loved doing crafts and dedicated her life to taking care of her husband, kids and grandkids. Melissa was a wonderful person inside and out and will be missed dearly by her friends and family. Melissa will be cremated at Watson’s Crematorium and Funeral Service. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
