Mary Virginia Harvey, 95 yrs old, passed away early Saturday September 13, 2025. She was preceded in death by her father/mother, Lester and Mary Lucille Rainey, all her brothers/sisters, and her husband Allan Harvey and her two sons, Glen and Peter Harvey. She was born August 14, 1930 and shared her birthday with her mother, Lucille Rainey and also her grandson Jeremy Harvey. She is survived by her daughter’s Carmela Huls of Kentucky, Mary ElizaBETH/Jerry Dodds of Bedford, Indiana and Francis/Mike Olson of Tilton, Illinois. Her daughter in law, Angeila Harvey. Her grandchildren Chris Huls, Lestra Huls-Colon, Josh/Steffanie Thacker, Tina/Rusty Miller, Heather/Roy Lamar, Hilary/Nelson Singleton, and Jeremy/Cybil Harvey. Her Great Grandchildren, Aidin Walls, Ashlyn Dewitt, Christian Thacker, Ethan Thacker, Samantha Thacker, Brennan Couch, Florence Chapell, Ashlyn Chapell, Timothy Chapell III, Anderson Chapell, Kimmy Wrestler, Dylan Steinsberger, Hannah Miller, Ryan Miller, Miranda Lamar/CJ Moore, Jesse/Nolan Deford, Sophia Lamar, Scarlett Lamar, Cecilia Lamar, Isabella Lamar, Alexandria Harvey, Mavus StClair, Jorja Harvey, Joslin Harvey. Her Great Great Grandchildren, Alijah Dewitt, Addison Dewitt, Vitalia Johnson, Emery Hamblen, Mia Moore, Carson Moore, Jaina Deford. Virginia was born/raised in Crawfordsville, Indiana and graduated from Veedersburg H.S. Indiana. She married Allan Harvey September 1950 in Montezuma, Indiana. Allan passed in 1988 and she continued to live with her youngest daughter, Francis and her Husband Mike in Danville/Tilton Illinois area until her death. She dated Harley Newell, Belgium, Illinois for about 10 years until his death in 2011. She liked to play bingo, liked to talk about anything/everything and constantly be on the go. She loved making quilts for all of her family. She had been experiencing Strokes in recent years that only affected her mentally which led to Extreme Sundown Syndrome. She had driven a car by herself up to her 94th birthday when she could no longer see. She had just celebrated her 95th birthday. She will be laid to rest with Private Graveside Services at West Union Cemetery, Monrovia, Indiana.
