Mary Ann (Pitchford) Davis, 76, passed from this life on August 6, 2025. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Charles R. Davis.

Mary Ann was the mother of two adopted daughters, Melia Sang (Kris) Kaneta and Marikim Hyun Davis. She raised two of her grandchildren, Mai Lin Davis and Miana Lin Davis. She also has a grandson, Kai Charles Kaneta.

She was the only daughter of Verlin and Viola Pitchford, born on January 31, 1949. She is survived by two brothers: Larry (Phyllis ) Pitchford and Duane Pitchford, as well as six cousins and many nieces and nephews.

Mary Ann was a devoted Christian, studying her Bible daily. She attended the various Christian churches throughout her life, churches in Indiana, Minnesota, Texas, Wisconsin and Illinois. She worked in hospital registration for over 25 years, making many friends. She loved planting and tending flowers and plants. She enjoyed watching her daughters and granddaughters play sports of all kinds.

Visitation and services will be held at the Vermilion Valley Vineyard, 3733 Poolside Dr, Danville, IL on Wednesday August 13. Visitation from 10:00 am with services at 11:00, officiated by Jay Sorrell of Vermilion Valley Vineyard.
