Lawrence Richard Paxton

Lawrence (Dick) Paxton of Danville, Illinois passed away on February 14, 2023.

Lawrence was born to Ernest and Beulah(Mullins) Paxton on November 9, 1946 in New Ross, Indiana.

Lawrence enjoyed playing pool, mushroom hunting and fishing. He loved spending time with family.

He worked at Freight Car Services before retiring.

Lawrence is survived by his children Tammi Paxton House (Keith Hughes) of Fithian, Illinois, Tim Paxton (Ann Hance) and Jamie (Sara) Paxton of Danville, Illinois.   He is also survived by his sisters Brenda (Mack) Fultz, and Irene Norman both from Indiana and several nieces and nephews.

Other survivors are his grandchildren Karmalita Perez of Rossville, Illinois, Caleb House (Lexi De la Rosa) of Hoopeston, Illinois , Austin Paxton, Selena Paxton, Brycen Paxton all of Danville, Illinois, Chelsey House, Jacob Spear of Fithian, Illinois and Sadie Ferber of Westville, Illinois

Lawrence has 9 great grandchildren Kyler Perez,  Sophie Paxton, Tobias Hernandez, Raiden Huerta,  Arabella Paxton, Lena House, Greyson New, Lillian House, and Leia White

Lawrence is preceded in death by his parents, a brother Fred Paxton and 2 sisters Nondace Fite and Patsy Moody all of Indiana.

Per his wishes no services at this time.

A Memorial will be at a later date.
