On Saturday Morning December 24, 2022 Kim Earl Phelps of Georgetown, peacefully passed away at 66 years old. Kim was born February 12, 1956. He is the son of Earl and Adahbell Phelps. Kim enjoyed deer hunting, mushroom hunting, and traveling. He loved the outdoors. Kim was a lifetime N.R.A member. He had a bachelors degree from Eastern Illinois University and was a Journeyman Millwright. He retired from Heatcraft and later worked for Alcoa. 

Kim was survived by his two children, William (Christina) Phelps of Georgetown, and Brittani Phelps of Danville,one granddaughter,Tavyn Phelps, one sister, Becky (Mark) Forsyth. Kim also left behind several nieces, nephews and cousins. He is preceded in death by his parents Earl and Adahbell Phelps and three sisters. Constance McGowen, Donna Linn and Sondra Swisher. 

Visitation will be Friday, December 30, 2022 from 3-5 p.m with services following at the Vermilion Valley Vineyard Church in Danville, Illinois.
