Keith A. Jennings, 63 of Georgetown, Illinois, passed away surrounded by family on March 10, 2022.
He was born in Danville, Illinois on March 15, 1958, to William and Margaret Jennings. Margaret later married Virgil Murphy and they raised Keith and three other children. Keith graduated from Danville High School in 1976 and started his career in the manufacturing industry as a machinist. He worked for the last 25 years at Automation International Inc. in Danville, IL where he was known both as a great employee and an incredible friend.
When his wife Jamie, first laid eyes on Keith, with his full head of hair, in 1972 she predicated she was “going to marry that man”. Her predication was correct as Keith and Jamie were married on July 25th, 1981 (the hottest day of the year). They spent 40 years happily married, raising beloved children and enjoying their grandchildren.
Keith had a deep love for family and would do everything he could for them. He is survived by his wife Jamie, son Trevor (Chelsea), daughter Kylah and his grandchildren Riddek, Roman, Charlotte, and Grace. He is also survived by his sister Lynn (Tom) Juvinall, his bother Dave (Laurie) Murphy and several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents Virgil and Margaret Murphy, sister Lori Murphy, grandson Parker Jennings, and his dear friend Kevin Bennett.
A festive celebration of life will take place on April 8th from 5-10pm at the Fireside Event Space (formally The Riggle) in Westville, IL.
