Kacey Noel Womack, 30, passed away on December 14th, 2023, at Blessing Hospital in Quincy, IL. She was the daughter of Shonna Jackson and Ricky Womack Sr., and her step-father Rayland Jackson. Kacey graduated from Westville High School in 2012 and furthered her education at Tricoci Cosmetology School in 2015. She was baptized at an early age and was a member of Grape Creek Baptist Church.
Kacey loved to sing and be around her friends. She had the biggest heart and a smile that could light up the room. Always cheerful, Kacey had a happiness that was contagious. She consistently found the good in everyone and never met a stranger. Kacey adored her nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Dorothy Acord; her paternal grandfather, Earnest Womack Sr.; paternal grandmother, Cora Bullocks; and her uncle, Earnest Womack Jr.
Kacey is survived by her brothers, Ricky Womack Jr., Treyjun Womack, Jaylen Womack; her step-brother, Rayland Jackson Jr.; her sisters, Mya Womack, Aleia Womack, and step-sister Tebrysa Jackson; her grandfather, Marty Acord SR; her step-grandmother, Jettie Martin; her nieces, and nephews Quentin, Danielle and Delaney. Kacey is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and a host of friends.
Kacey’s visitation will be held on Saturday, December 23rd from 11am-1pm with her funeral starting at 1pm at Kruger’s Funeral Home in Danville, IL.
In celebrating Kacey's life, let us remember the joy she brought to those around her and the warmth of her spirit. Her light will continue to shine in our hearts, and her memory will forever be cherished.
