Julie A. Alesi, 67, of Danville, Illinois, passed away at her home on January 13, 2026.
Julie was born on February 14, 1958, in Danville, the daughter of Linda (Dick) Blair and James Robert Sheahan. She was a lifelong resident of the Danville area.
She is survived by her husband, Richard “Rick” Alesi; her three sons, Mark (Michelle) Drews, Jason (Jessica) Alesi, and Anthony Alesi; seven grandchildren; Kahlar (Ellia) Drews, Derek Drews, Hunter Alesi, Annie Alesi and Roran Alesi, Amelia Alesi and Maliah Alesi and two great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind her siblings; John (Anne) Sheahan, Beth (Frank) Christian, and Candice (Michael) Baldwin and numerous nieces and nephews.
Julie was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, James Sheahan; an infant niece and her grandparents, Elmer and Frances Baumgart and Matt and Irene Sheahan.
She worked as a manager at Ross Dress for Less.
Julie enjoyed spending time with her family, cooking, camping and reading.
