John K Brant

John Brant, 70, of Danville, IL., passed away August 14th, 2024 at his home after a lengthy battle with cancer.

He is survived by his wife Christina (Tina Troxel) Duprey-Brant of Danville, IL., his son John (CECE) Brant Jr. of Danville, IL., his daughter Michelle (Dave) Kemp of Enterprise, AL., his brother Vernie (Karen) Brant of Kingman, IN. and his sister Joyce (Willard) Cundiff of Olivet, IL. H had numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and many many friends. He loved his new bonus family and friends very much. He will be greatly missed by all.

John is preceded in death by his parents Vernise and Margaret (Moody) Brant, first wife Paula Brant and granddaughter Darleena Kemp all of Danville, IL.

John attended Danville High School. He retired from Bunge Milling in February 2017, after 44 years. John enjoyed fishing, camping and boating everywhere. He very much enjoyed fishing trips to Missouri and Kentucky to visit family and friends.

John was cremated with no services per his wishes. Arrangements were handled by Watson Cremation Services in Danville, IL.

When asked what he did to keep going, John would say "Whatever I want to do".
