Jason Blue left this world of family and friends to meet up with his father at the big Busch Stadium in the sky. Jason leaves behind: His mother Margaret "Ann" Fox and step-father Stephen Fox, step-mother Patti Pierce, grandmother Rita Blue, brother Kyle Blue, uncle Rick Blue and wife Tina, aunt and uncle Nadine and Forest Worstel, aunt and uncle Richard and Sharon Bender, aunt Karen Nagle and all the cousins, nieces, and nephews they provided. Jason also leaves behind his girlfriend Lisa Lyn Farnham and their pets Stella and Baxter. Jason was born in Florida but returned and attended Danville Schools, graduating from DHS in 1995. He attended DACC and they Eastern Illinois University. Jason had a large host of friends he held in high regard and too many to name. Two of the best in this litter are Pete O'Brien and Broc Atwood. Blue and Atwood met in high school and remained best friends ever since, along with the immediate Atwood family.Their shenanigans are legendary. They coached girls' softball together until recently. Jason and Pete O'Brien were life-long friends, practically growing up together in their youth, playing baseball together, and living together in college. They later coached youth baseball together. Jason did not father any off-spring but he loved Pete's boys as his own. Pete's boys adored Jason and called him "Uncle Jason". Jason was very proud to become Godfather of young Stryker a short time ago. Jason leaves behind an amazing collection of baseball memorabilia. That is Cardinal Baseball of course. Everything from autographed balls to old Busch Stadium seats. I guess we can say, "Jason has officially left the stadium"!

A Celebration of Life will be at 4 pm. on August 24th, 2024 at O'Briens Corner Tavern.
