Holly (Cox) Miller passed away on Sunday, January 4, 2026, at 5:20 PM at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, Illinois after a short but fiercely fought battle with cancer.

Holly was born on August 8, 1955 in Danville, Illinois to Emmett Ross Cox, Jr. and Llora Marjorie (Claggett) Cox.  She was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles, and a great niece.  Survivors include her sisters, Lori A. Block and Rebecca (Mark Zimmerman) LaCombe, her brother, Dr. C. Leslie  (Mary Deborah) Cox, several cousins, a niece and several nephews.  

Holly worked at various jobs throughout her life in the Danville, Mahomet and Champaign-Urbana areas, last working at S K Fence before retiring.  She enjoyed eating out, playing computer games, socializing on Facebook and being with her family and friends.   She dearly loved all her animals and will be missed by her loving cat, Zelig.

Per her request, she will be cremated and no formal funeral services are to be held.
