Gerald Ray Talbert Sr.

Gerald Ray Talbert SR. was a strong, loving, most of all wonderful man; who knew how to bring a roomful of people together. There was never a dull moment with him around. He lived a wonderful and happy life born July 26,1956 growing into a very original man in the city of Danville, IL. After graduating high school in 1974 he enlisted in the Navy on March 17, 1975 serving 4 years. Coming home he loved working odd jobs; there wasn’t a job he couldn’t do or wasn’t willing to learn. His passions included music such as Gary Moore sings the blues and loving his family. He had a deep love for everyone near him and he’ll live on in everyone’s hearts and fond memories. Survived by his strong and loving wife Debra Talbert and their children Billy Tiner (wife Angie) his children Chase, Dalton, Owen. Gerald Talbert JR. (wife Amanda) their children Haley, Alex, Nathan. Angela Talbert ( significant other Matthew) her children Natalie and Roman. Amy Reed (husband Robert) their children Shawn, Shelby, Skyler, Hannah. Jodee Brown (husband Danny) their children Pete, Adi, Dani. Timothy Johnson (wife Alisa) their children Aaron and Kipton. We will be celebrating his life at Assembly Church on Walnut Friday June 5,2021 11am to 12pm
