Dessie Irene (Wright) Carmichael, 95, of Danville, passed away October 9th, 2022, in Danville. Dessie was born February 15, 1927, to John and Myra (Murray) Wright. She married Herman (Red) Carmichael. He preceded her in death. Also preceding her in death are her parents, a sister, her daughter Alma Kennedy, two brothers and one sister. She is survived by her children, Opha (Bill) Beeman, Susie Magee, Linda (Todd) McIntyre, Rev. Amos (Georgia) Carmichael, one sister Arlena Cooper, 12 grandchildren, lots of great grandchildren and lots and lots of great- great grandchildren. Dessie was very strong in her faith.
