David A. Marrow 

David A. Marrow, 58, of Indianola, IL passed away on the morning of Saturday, October 12th, 2024, at his home.

Dave was born on April 1, 1966, in Danville, Illinois to Richard and JoAnn Marrow.

He is survived by his wife, Katie Marrow of Indianola, IL; 2 sons: Anthony "Tony" Marrow of Indianola, IL, and Kevin Marrow of Catlin, IL; daughter Jenna (Travis) Marrow of Ridge Farm, IL; two brothers John (Donna) Marrow of Attica, IN, and Rocky Marrow of Danville, IL; father-in-law Paul (Lana) Wasser of Oakwood, IL; numerous nieces and nephews; and other extended family; also his two beloved dogs, Zoey and Nova, and 3 grand dogs.

Dave was proceeded in death by his father Richard Marrow, mother Joann Marrow, brother Richard Marrow II, brother Tom Marrow, and a special niece Angel Marrow.

Dave was a 1984 graduate of Catlin High School. He was a member of the Laborer's Local 703. He enjoyed mushroom hunting, riding his Harley, and watching westerns. He was a gifted craftsman. He built the family home in 2000, in which took great pride in. His biggest joy in life were his kids. 

Dave fought a very long, courageous 30-year battle with cancer and heart disease. 

"God saw he was getting tired,

A cure was not to be.

So, He put his arms around me and

whispered "come with me".

With tearful eyes we watched him suffer,

and saw him fade away.

Although we loved him dearly,

we could not make him stay.

A golden heart stopped beating.

Hard working hands at rest.

God broke our hearts to prove he only

takes the best."

Services will be held at the Indianola United Methodist Church, 1 N. High Street on Thursday, October 17, 2024, at 3:00pm. David Almy will officiate. A celebration of life will follow in the church's fellowship hall with a dinner.
