  Passed away 5:45am at home peacefully in his sleep with his wife and brother-in-law Mathew Wiegle by his side. 

Dave was born December 22,1943 to Luther and Maude Cheesman in Cayuga, IN.

Dave will precede in death by his parents his brothers Butch, Charlie, Dan and Gary. His three sisters Phyliss, Vivian and Nancy.

Dave is survived by his wife Malinda,

 three sons David Ray (Karen) of Crawfordsville, IN. Dennis (Donya) of Westville, IL Brian (Cathy) of Mansfield OH. 

 10 Grandkids and 12 

Greatgrandchildren and along with Dave’s Brother Robert (Judy) of Danville, Il.   Rick (Tammy) of Houston TX. Dave’s two sisters 

Linda (Kenny) Obanion of Armstrong, Il and Tonya (David) of Westville, Il.    

Dave Married Malinda (Weigle) November 1, 2008. Dave retired from Krupp Gurlock in 2007 as a machinist.He enjoyed spending time with his family. He loved riding motorcycles and working in his garage. He accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as his personal savior.

A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday March 21st, 2025 at Greenwood Cemetery in Danville, IL.

Pastor Allan Rudie will officiate the service.
