David Michael Beckett, 65, of Danville passed away on Tuesday, October 25, 2022 at his residence.

Mike was born on June 23, 1957 in Centralia, Illinois. Mike was a '76 graduate of Centennial High School. He was a hardworking route driver for Albin Vending, later Canteen. He enjoyed fishing, golfing, camping, reading, cheering for the Cardinals, Da Bears, and Illini. He was a great cook and baker, and also enjoyed eating a good home cooked meal.  He loved his daughters and grandchildren.

Mike is lovingly remembered by his mother, Virginia Bryant, his two daughters: Kelley (Bryan) Simmons and Robin Beckett (Tyler Hill), his grandchildren Roman, Elijah, Aria and August. Ronald (Davida) Kidwell III, Sara (Kyle) Catalina, and Thomas Kidwell. His brothers, Mark (Lori) Beckett, Jeff Beckett, and Donnie Bryant, and several nieces and nephews. 

To our dearest David Michael Beckett, you will be truly missed by all of us: Sandy Williams; Jamie Stephenson; Shaunna Williams (Simon Perez), Jordyn Ewell and Kendyl Maynor; Wyatt Carter; Anthony Williams; Tyler Williams, Symphanii, and Harmonii Williams; Ka-Lee Williams, Nevaeh Lopez, Angelo Lopez, Malaysia Severado, Na'Layeah Severado, and Taurian Brandon. You were a father figure, a grandpa, and a friend to so many. Thank you for being a part of our family. We will cherish the memories we had together. We love you.

A Celebration of Mike's Life will be held at 10:30 am Saturday, November 5, 2022 at Bowman Avenue United Methodist Church 911 N. Bowman Ave. Danville, IL 61832.
