Cloyd Gene Coon

Cloyd coon born Dec 22, 1952, was lifelong resident of Danville Illinois passed away March 12, 2026. With his battle with cancer and his wife by his side.

Cloyd is survived by his wife Carol coon, his children Stacey and Ricky Deeter, Carrie and Ben Mingo 

and Amanda and Andrew Healey. His two brothers

Roy and Roger coon and  his sister Lori Townsend. 

He is proceeded in death by his parents Bonnie and Ramond coon and his sister Caroline Smith.

Cloyd attened oakwood high school and later retired from general motors. He love watching sports and NASCAR, mowing his grass .In his younger years he enjoyed woodworking 

And hunting and fish with his grandson, and wife 

There will be no visitation due to Cloyd's request only a dinner held at the church for family.
