Obituary

Christopher Erik Meinart, 42, of Danville, Illinois passed away on January 16, 2023, in Danville. He was born on July 8, 1980, in Danville to Paul Meinart and Melinda Ramsey. Chris grew up in Danville, graduated from Danville High School and spent most of his adult life in Danville.

Growing up, Chris was a talented baseball player, where most of his time was spent on the pitching mound. He was a phenomenal artist and could draw anything with great skill. Chris loved music, especially playing guitar with his dad.

Chris previously worked as a tattoo artist and most recently as a truck driver. He was a free spirit and lived life on his own terms. Chris was affectionately known to his friends as "Hog" and his whole life was centered around them.  He was extremely witty, funny, and often referred to as "one of the smartest people I know".

He was preceded in death by his mom, Melinda (Mindy) Meinart, an infant child and his grandparents Betti Meinart, Neal Meinart, Robert Anglemyer and Patricia Anglemyer.  He is survived by his dad, brother, daughter, son and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

No services are planned.
He will be laid to rest with his mom at a later date.
