Carol Anne Munck of Danville, IL, who passed away on May 11th, 2026.

 

Carol was born on October 8, 1952, in Danville, IL, to Verl A. and Iva E. (Powell) Morgan. She was the youngest of 11 children. Carol was married to Orville (Allan) Martin until his passing in 2000, and later married Sven E. Munck, who survives her.

 

She is also survived by her daughter, Carrie (Doug) White, and three sons: Steven Munck, Erik (April) Munck, and Sven D. Munck. She adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren: Josie (Jeremy) Wright, Derrek Bloomfield, Kolton Munck, Julian and Andres Delatorre, Zack Munck, Eli Wright, Corbin Wright, and Lennox Wright. Sisters Gladys Lockwood, Nancy Loftland, Jennifer Amos, Susan Morgan and Brother Mike Morgan. And many Nieces and Nephews.

She also leaves behind her beloved puppy, Ivy.

 

Carol was preceded in death by her first husband, Allan; her brother, Sonny Morgan; and her sisters, Judy Rotramel, Juanita Shappard, Linda Sands, and Marilyn Trimble. She was also preceded by her special niece/ sister, Christie Glahn, and dear friends Linda and Julianne and so many more.

 

Carol spent many years in customer service, lastly at Jewel-Osco until her retirement, where she built many friendships with coworkers and customers alike.

 

Per Carol’s wishes, there will be no service. Cremation arrangements are being handled by Watson’s Cremation Services in Danville. Her family would like to extend their sincere thanks to the OSF Hospice Team for their dedicated care over the last few months.
