Carol M. Deffenbaugh (Nibbe)

July 30th, 1940 - June 1st, 2025

Carol Deffenbaugh, 84, passed away peacefully on June 1st, 2025.

Carol was born on July 30th, 1940, in Minnesota, the daughter of Herman Walter Nibbe and Matie Minnie Joblinske.

She is survived by one son, Brian (Sheila) Deffenbaugh, two step-sons, Randy and Rodney (Malea) Deffenbaugh; two sisters, Marlene Sollars, and Ethel Gooch; three brothers, Bobby, Rodger, and Warren Nibbe; three grandsons, Blake (Laila), Brock (Vennessa), and Brett (Jennifer) Deffenbaugh; and many nieces, nephews & great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; three sons, Richard, Carl, and Greg Deffenbaugh; one step-son, Tommy Deffenbaugh; one sister, Jody Ring; and four brothers, Howard, Kenneth, Darwin, and J.R. Nibbe.

She worked as a school bus driver for Catlin for many years. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, word searches, gardening, and listening to music. She also loved spending time with her family.
