Bruce Allen Meeker, passed away at his home in Georgetown, Illinois with his family by his side. Bruce was born August 29, 1961 in Danville, Illinois to Robert and Marilyn Meeker. He married Lisa Hardy on November 12, 1998 after a 20 year courtship. She survives. Other survivors include his daughter Brandy Meeker(Mike Drollinger) of Georgetown, Illinois, father and mother, a  brother Brian(Belinda) Meeker of Georgetown, Illinois, sister Brenda(Brian) Noggle of Cayuga, Indiana, three grandchildren; Ryley & Landon Heck of Georgetown and Remington Drollinger of Georgetown, brother and sister in law’s Dennis Hardy of Seattle, Washington, Cathy(Dan) Chase of Valley Center, Kansas, Debbie(Jim) Williams of Georgetown, Mitzy(Jay) Van Duyn of Westville, several nieces, nephews and cousins, two special Uncles; Billy Ray(Mindy) Meeker of Catlin and Phillip(Helen) Meeker of Alvin, Illinois. Special Aunt Charlotte Lynn of Danville, Illinois. Two special friends, John Nimrick and Kris Key.

Bruce was preceded in death by his mother and father- in- law, grandparents and a special cousin, John Lisick. Bruce graduated from Georgetown High School class of 1979. He worked at Danville Metal Stamping as a resistant welder for almost 30 years. He enjoyed hunting and fishing with his daughter, most of all he enjoyed spending time with his grandsons and special nephew, Brodie Meeker.

Per his wishes, Bruce will be cremated. There will be no services.
