It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Brenda L. Burris Daugherty, who departed this life on 6/23/2026 at the age of 72.
Brenda was born on 02/09/1954 in Danville, IL the daughter of Halford and Madge Burris.
Brenda was married to Hugh Daugherty till his death in 1988 and later was partners with Walter McNeese until his death in 2012. Brenda  is survived by brother Hal(Bud) (Janet) Burris, sister Sue Campbell-Atwood, and brother Roger (Nancy) Burris and several nieces and nephews. She was proceeded in death by her parents, sister Linda, husband, partner, 2 nieces and her beloved cats.

Memorial service will be held graveside at Jones Grove Cemetery in Catlin, Il on Friday July 3 at 10 a.m . Family and friends are invited to attend and celebrate a life well lived.
Though deeply missed, Brenda  will remain forever in the hearts of those who loved her.
